vendor relations, verified badge scope, and customer due diligence.

This Disclaimer clarifies the operational boundary of Easy Vendor. Please read this document before engaging with any service professional listed in our directory.

1. Intermediary Status (IT Act 2000)

Easy Vendor is an electronic search directory and matchmaking platform designed to help consumers locate local service providers. Easy Vendor acts solely as an intermediary as defined under Section 2(1)(w) and Section 79 of the Information Technology Act, 2000.

2. Independent Contractor Relationship

All technicians, contractors, craftsmen, and service vendors listed on Easy Vendor are independent commercial operators. Easy Vendor is not an employer, partner, agent, or franchisor of any listed vendor.

Direct Customer-Vendor Contracts

All service agreements, project scopes, warranties, payment schedules, and physical executions are concluded strictly and directly between the customer and the chosen vendor.

3. Scope of the "Verified" Badge

When a vendor profile displays a “Verified” checkmark badge, it confirms that:

The vendor has verified their 10-digit mobile number via OTP.
The vendor has submitted valid identity documents (Aadhaar / PAN / Trade License) reviewed by an administrator.
The vendor operates a registered business account on the Easy Vendor network.

Note: The “Verified” badge is a measure of identity verification; it does not constitute an absolute guarantee or financial insurance regarding the quality or outcome of individual field tasks.

4. Customer Due Diligence

We advise customers to exercise customary diligence prior to hiring any service provider:

Request a clear written quote and scope of work before commencement.
Inspect past work samples, certifications, and read verified customer reviews on the vendor’s profile.
Clarify warranty coverage, spare part costs, and payment milestones in advance.

5. Pricing, Quotes & Commercial Terms

Easy Vendor does not dictate or fix pricing for local services. Rates displayed or quoted by vendors are determined independently by the respective service provider based on project complexity, materials, and regional market rates.

6. Reviews & Ratings Disclaimer

Customer ratings and reviews reflect the personal experiences and opinions of individual consumers. While Easy Vendor audits invoice/job reference numbers to filter spam, opinions expressed in reviews remain the sole responsibility of the respective reviewers.
